LONDON: Senior batsman Mohammad Hafeez was on Saturday evening ruled out of the rest of the One-day International series against England because of a recurring knee injury.
A Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesman announced that fast bowler Mohammad Irfan will join the Pakistan squad in England as Hafeez’s replacement.
“Hafeez has injured his knee and has been ruled out of the rest of the tour. Mohammad Irfan will join the team soon as his replacement,” the spokesman said after Pakistan lost their second ODI here at Lord’s.
