Border area in Mohmand Agency gets first primary school
GHALLANAI: First community model primary school was inaugurated in the far-off Jarobi Darra in Baizai border area in Mohmand Agency on Wednesday.
Assistant Political Agent (APA) Baizai tehsil, Pir Abdullah Shah and Agency Education Officer Abdus Sattar formally inaugurated the school. Local officials and elders of the area were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, APA Abdullah Shah said the time had come to develop the border areas by launching various schemes, particularly in education and health sectors to improve the life standard of the local people.He said the government would make efforts to facilitate the people and rehabilitate the damaged infrastructure.
Later, the official distributed free books, uniforms and other items among the students admitted to the newly-built school.The elders appreciated the opening of the school in Jarobi Darra area and hoped the government would take more steps to facilitate local populace.
