Praises Pakistan’s sacrifices in terror war

ISLAMABAD: The Chief of the United States Central Command (US Centcom) General Lloyd Austin called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Rashad Mahmood and Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday and discussed matters of mutual interest.
During the meeting held at the General Headquarters (GHQ), regional security also came under discussion.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the visiting dignitary acknowledged the sacrifices and efforts of the Pakistan Army in the war on terror and also for bringing peace in Pakistan as well as the region.
He also paid homage to the martyrs of the Pakistan Army and laid a floral wreath at the Shuhada monument.
