Tragedy in Quetta
The attack at Quetta Civil Hospital, resulting in of the death of 70 innocent citizens (55 of them lawyers), clearly demonstrates that anti-state elements are still very active in Balochistan. Such incidents cannot happen without the involvement of local people with those operating from outside our country.
India wants to destabilise Pakistan economically. Isn’t it quite strange that the international community has remained completely silent over such incidents despite the fact that many a time the UN has been provided evidence from the Pakistani government regarding the involvement of RAW in the internal affairs of our country. Our army and other law-enforcement agencies are capable enough to crush all such evil forces. There is a need to further strengthen our intelligence network to counter such elements from our country.

The carnage in Quetta on Monday is highly condemnable. Pakistani authorities have indicated the involvement of RAW in destabilising the country, particularly Balochistan.
Blaming RAW is neither enough nor the solution. Instead, we need a proper foreign policy, one that responds effectively to Indo-Afghan sponsored interventions. But at this stage, it is not possible – because the seat of the foreign minister remains vacant. A state without a foreign minister can never exceed in shaping its foreign policy in a proper way and ultimately Pakistan will remain unsafe from foreign interventions. The government has to think over this.
