Term Cup main event in today’s Lahore races

FAISALABAD: The 10th Day Winter Meeting 2025–26 at the Lahore Race Club (LRC) promises high-octane action on Sunday (today), with the spotlight firmly on the Term Cup Race for 3-Year-Olds, alongside the competitive Race Five and Race Six.

A large field of Class-VII, Division-VI & VII opens the day, with Anni Power installed as the favourite. Leo Star is tipped to place, while Sher Dil carries fluke potential. The race features a diverse lineup including Thunder Man (KRC), Khizer Choice, Barbaro, My Handsome, Barrister, True Love, Stalker, Sea of Class, American Star, Floey, Lex Lugar, and Gifts of Gold.

Awan Di Shan leads the betting Class-VII, Division-V & VI charts, with Yes Commander expected to place and Rayaan Prince as the fluke. The field includes Lucky Macs, Zaman Sahib, Latin Strom, Mafnood JR, Naweed-e-Sahar, and Mr. Brown.

Monsoon Mischief is the favourite in a compact Class-VII, Division-III & IV field, with Yesteryear and Little Master offering place and fluke interest respectively. Other runners include Thunder Boy (KRC), Haseeb Thunder, Haseeb Warrior, and Sarkar Raj.

The marquee event of the day features One Man Band as the standout favourite of Term Cup for 3-Year-Olds. Perfect Again is expected to place, while Sardar Bey could spring a surprise. Completing the field are New York City and Distant Music. With extended distance and youthful energy, this race is expected to test stamina and tactical riding.

Prince Eissa enters as the Class-VII, Division-I & II favourite, with Daaku and Hall Road offering place and fluke potential. The race also features Dominus, Shibra, and Nostalgic, making for a balanced contest.

Prodigal Rain is the top pick in this mid-card Class-VI race, with Quality Street and Nisha expected to challenge. Redrock and Brooklyn round out the field in what could be a tightly run affair.

Closing the day is a sprint of Class-VII, Division-II & III featuring Talent as the favourite, Dubawi’s Angel as the place contender, and Specialist as the fluke. Other entries include Awan Choice, Vartika, Shareeka, and Imperius.
