Afghan envoy visits camp at Jamrud
JAMRUD: Afghan Ambassador Niaz Muhammad Arif visited Illegal Foreigners Camp in Jamrud area of the Khyber district and met Afghan families lodged there.
Additional Assistant Commissioner Jamrud Naseemullah Shah, accompanied him.During the visit, the Afghan ambassador inquired about the arrangements and facilities from the refugees. The Afghan families said that the facilities provided by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and the district administration were satisfactory.
The additional assistant commissioner briefed the ambassador about the arrangements for accommodation, health, education and other basic facilities in the camp.The Afghan ambassador expressed satisfaction with the cooperation of the administration and said that he hoped that humanitarian cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan would be stronger and more effective in the future.
