LAHORE: The 7th Day Winter Meeting 2025–26 at the Lahore Race Club promises a thrilling Sunday of competitive racing, with a seven-race card headlined by the much-anticipated Bon Voyage Cup.

Scheduled for October 19, the meeting features a mix of Class VII and Class VI divisions, offering a diverse lineup that caters to both seasoned punters and casual racegoers.

The day opens with Race 1, a Class VII Division VI & VII sprint over 1000 meters, featuring 11 runners. Good Boy enters as the favourite, with Thunder Prince (KRC) tipped for place and Leo Star as the fluke. The field includes names like Anni Power, Bilal Love, King Asia, and Silent Melody, adding depth to the contest.

Race 2, also over 1000 meters, pits Class VII Division V & VI contenders against each other. Safe Bet leads the betting charts, with Gennie and Haseeb Thrill expected to challenge. The lineup includes Lucky Macs, Fazeel The Great, and Barrister, making for a competitive field of nine.

The spotlight then shifts to Race 3, the Bon Voyage Cup, a term race for 2-year-olds making their debut. With nine entries, including Be A Man, Sher Khan, Princess Barcelona, and Samara, this race is wide open, with all runners considered favourites and outsiders alike due to their lack of prior form. It’s a true test of pedigree and preparation.

Race 4, a Class VII Division I & II event over 1200 meters, features New York City as the favourite, with Rakaposhi and Ronnaq expected to challenge. The field includes Haider Prince, Kit Kat, and Shareeka, promising a tactical battle over the extended sprint distance.

In Race 5, the only Class VI contest of the day, Perfect Again is the standout pick over 1400 meters, with Luna Afzaal and Nisha offering value as place and fluke bets. The race includes seasoned runners like Redrock, Brooklyn, and Son of Sultan, making it one of the most anticipated contests.

Race 6 returns to Class VII Division II & III over 1000 meters, with Mogambo as the favourite. Thunder Boy (KRC) and Falco are expected to challenge, while Hall Road, Haseeb Warrior, and Mera Gondal round out the field.

The day concludes with Race 7, a Class VII Division IV sprint over 1000 meters, featuring Talent as the favourite. Absolutely Not and Great One are the place and fluke picks, with Yesteryear, Fairy World, and Gabriela adding flair to the final race.
