PTI dissidents may give tough time to KP CM
PESHAWAR: As many as 17 members National Assembly and provincial assembly have decided to prepare charge sheet against KP chief minister over nepotism in affairs of the province.
Seven MNAs of the PTI and 10 MPAs of KP Assembly belonging to the PTI have convened a meeting at the residence of PTI provincial leader Yasin Khalil today (Friday) for initiating ‘save the party move’, PTI sources told this news agency.
They said in a meeting of the dissident members of the PTI the other day at Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad, it was decided to contact other members of the party as well to make the move stronger.
The sources said dissident group of the party is also preparing charge sheet against Chief Minister Pervez Khattak for awarding funds to like-minded members.The dissident members included MNAs Dawar Kundi, Junaid Iqbal Khiyal, Zaman Amirullah and Sajid Nawaz and MPAs Qurban Ali, Yasin Khalil, adviser to chief minister Shakeel and others.
The sources said despite several complaints to PTI Chairman Imran Khan, the grievances of the dissidents MNAs and MPAs of the PTI could not be addressed forcing them to agitate.It is pertinent to mention that CM’s adviser Shakil Khan criticised the CM at the floor of provincial assembly over biased distribution of funds among the members.
