Korean minister meets Riaz Pirzada

Islamabad: Ambassador of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) to Pakistan Mr. Kim Tae Sop paid a courtesy call on Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada here on Wednesday (July 20). The federal minister welcomed the Ambassador of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to Pakistan Mr. Kim Tae Sop. During the meeting, the ambassador of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea discussed cooperation between two countries in the field of sports such as table tennis, wrestling and Taegwondo in a way of providing coaches and players from Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. Mr. Kim said that Democratic People’s Republic of Korea wants to extend relations with Pakistan in all fields, especially in the field of sports. He said that Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is ready to provide coaches to Pakistan for training the Pakistani players especially in table tennis, wrestling and Taegwondo, adding that these sports have been well known throughout the world as DPRK won gold medals in international and regional championship. Pirzada said that Pakistan is a sport loving nation and sports is the priority of our country. He noted that Pakistan has great talent in the field of sports as we have good cricketers, hockey players, wrestlers, boxers, athletes, etc.
