Police arrest outlaws

The Islamabad Police have arrested six outlaws including assassin of security guard and recovered two stolen bikes from them, a police spokesman said.

A special team was constituted on directions SP Rural Tanveer Mustafa which included Station House Officer Koral Police Station Inspector Abdul Rauf Kayani, Sub-Inspector Sultan Mehmood and others to arrest the accused involved in killing a security guard at Taramri Chowk on December 20, 2015 and looting gold ornaments and other valuables from shops after breaking their locks. 

The team succeeded to arrest accused Lal Hussain resident of Parachanar involved in murder as well as theft cases, while further investigation is underway from him.

Police have already arrested three accused Said Mehmud, Ali and Ashraf for involvement in this case. The nabbed accused Lal Hussain has also remained a jail bird for his involvement in dacoity cases.

Meanwhile, Sabzi Mandi Police arrested Jan Agha and Hidyat involved in bike theft cases, besides recovering two stolen bikes from him.

Ramana Police arrested two Afzal and Fawad Ahmed for decanting gas in cylinders illegally.

Sihala Police arrested Farhan, an errant and absconding driver of vehicle (RIS-2312), who hit a 9-year old child during driving resulting his death. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.

SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in the city and curb activities of anti-social elements.
