Eight killed in Mardan rain-related incidents

MARDAN: Eight persons including two children and women were killed while many others injured in Mardan in rain-related incidents on Thursday.
According to the PDMA officials, the casualties occurred in Pirsado Takhtbi Shergarh and Chamtar area of Mardan when roofs and walls collapsed due to heavy rain.
Two women and two children were also among the dead. They were shifted to district headquarters hospital. Heavy rain and thunderstorm on Thursday hit Mardan Charsadda and other parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
