QUETTA: Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Rozi Khan Barech inaugurated the newly constructed Saryab Judicial Complex on Tuesday.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior-most BHC Justice Muhammad Kamran Khan Mulakhail, other judges, Registrar Abdul Qayyum Lehri, District and Sessions Judge Saryab, Inayatullah Kakar, judicial officers, and members of the legal fraternity.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Justice Barech emphasized the judiciary’s responsibility to call out wrongdoing without hesitation. He urged judges to thoroughly examine cases, avoid unnecessary delays and stay orders, and ensure timely resolution in accordance with the law. He stressed the importance of courteous public dealings and urged all judges to perform their duties with dedication so that the new complex becomes a center for affordable and swift justice. He also called on lawyers to identify and remove corrupt individuals from their ranks, warning that no leniency would be shown to those involved in misconduct.

Justice Barech noted that the Saryab Judicial Complex will save local residents the trouble of traveling to centrally located district courts, thus reducing time and cost burdens on the public.

Earlier, on his arrival at the complex, the Chief Justice was presented with a guard of honour by a police contingent.
