Forests fall

June 28, 2025

Our country is facing a severe crisis, with thousands of trees being cut down daily. According to recent statistics, Pakistan has less than 5 per cent of its land area covered by forests. The consequences of deforestation are dire. Without trees, our planet's oxygen supply will dwindle, making life unsustainable.

It is our collective responsibility to protect our environment. I urge our leaders to take immediate action against those who are destroying our ecosystem and work to restore our country’s forests.
