‘Good governance must for provision of facilities’

OKARA: A district administration meeting was held here on Wednesday.The moot was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Usman Javed. Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Muhammad Ibrahim Arbab, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Hafiz Muhammad Omar Tayyab, Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning Chaudhry Abdul Jabbar Gujjar, Assistant Commissioner Rab Nawaz, Deputy Director Development Marghub Hussain Dogar, Deputy Director Local Government Muhammad Shahbaz Sukhera and others were also present.

Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Usman while issuing instructions said that for the betterment of the people, good governance measures should be fully implemented and the series of field visits in this regard should be continued continuously. He said that good governance measures of the Punjab government were must to provide relief to the public. By adopting governance, provision of facilities to the people should be ensured, he added.

ACTION PLAN TO CONTROL TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS: The Patrolling Police District Okara on Wednesday issued a coordinated action plan to control traffic accidents and overloading.In this connection, 405 cases were registered under criminal and other sections across the region, including Okara district, and the accused were arrested immediately.
