PESHAWAR: The court of an additional district and sessions judge here on Wednesday sentenced a man to life imprisonment after he was found guilty of murder and attempted murder.
The court also imposed an additional 11-year prison sentence under other relevant charges, along with a fine of Rs330,000. Furthermore, the convict has been ordered to pay Rs 1 million as diyat to the victim’s family.Following the incident, the police arrested the accused. After the trial, the court found him guilty and handed down the sentences accordingly.
