Rally in Parachinar condemns Israeli aggression against Iran
PARACHINAR: A protest rally was held in Parachinar under the auspices of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen to condemn the Israeli aggression against Iran and to express unwavering solidarity with the Iranian nation.
The rally, which passed through various markets and culminated at Kashmir Chowk, drew large crowds of demonstrators carrying placards and chanting slogans in support of Iran and against Israeli hostilities.
Addressing the participants, religious scholars and political figures including Allama Ahmed Ali Rohani, Allama Moeen Hussain, Syed Sarfraz Ali Shah, Allama Baqir Haidari, Agha Tajammul Hussain, and Shafiq Motahhari emphasized the need for unity among Muslim nations.
Speakers condemned the Israeli attack on Iran, calling it a “cowardly act” that marked a turning point. “This was not merely an attack on Iran, but an assault on the entire Muslim world,” they declared.
The speakers lauded the people of Parachinar for their political awareness and expressed full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
They criticized Muslim states that have remained silent in the face of this aggression, labeling their inaction as “criminal negligence” at a critical juncture in the region’s history.
The speakers expressed pride in the fact that Parachinar’s elected MNA, Hamid Hussain, had tabled a resolution in the National Assembly condemning Israeli aggression-an initiative that was passed by both the National Assembly and Senate. They described it as a reflection of the commitment and loyalty of the people of Kurram to Islamic unity.
Participants also praised the Government of Pakistan for raising its voice against Israel on the national level. “Iran is the only power in the Muslim world capable of decisively confronting Israel,” the speakers said. “The Iranian nation does not fear martyrdom. It embraces it as an honour.”
The rally concluded peacefully, with calls for continued solidarity with Iran and for the unity of the Muslim Ummah in the face of aggression and injustice.
