Providing basic facilities to citizens top priority: SMBR

LAHORE:Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Nabil Javed said that providing basic facilities to citizens is the top priority. He said this while presiding over a meeting to review the reforms in the key performance indicators on Friday.

The performance of Commissioners, DCs and other revenue officers was also reviewed regarding key performance indicators. The officers gave a detailed briefing to SMBR on revenue collection, transfer, missing deeds and other revenue matters. A briefing was also given on digitisation of subjects, partition proceedings, pendency of mutations and inheritance transfer. Secretary Board of Revenue gave a briefing on the steps taken to improve the Revenue Courts Management System.

Nabil Javed said that low-performing districts should improve their performance. He further said that the officers who do good work will be praised. He directed the officers to ensure the presence of the administration in the field and there is no room for negligence or irresponsibility. Member Colonies, Member Taxes, Secretary Board of Revenue, PLRA, Chief Settlement Commissioner and all judicial members attended the meeting.
