ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan women’s tennis squad is all set to depart for Sri Lanka today (Saturday) to participate in the Billie Jean King Cup.
The national team comprises Ushna Suhail, Meheq Khokhar, Sheeza Sajid, and Amna Ali Qayum as players. The team will be led by Sara Mansoor as the non-playing captain. In preparation for the event, the squad attended a five-day training camp here at the PTF Tennis Complex. During the camp, Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation, also joined the players. The PTF president said: “We did our best in the training camp, and I hope the team will perform well in the event.”
