ISLAMABAD: The court of Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand adjourned the hearing of the Toshakhana-II case against the founder of PTI Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi without taking any action.

The hearing was held in the Judicial Complex instead of Adiala Jail on Wednesday. The court adjourned the hearing without taking any action until July 1.

In another case, the decision on the appeals filed by the PTI against the decision to appoint State Council in 26 protest cases pending in the Additional District and Sessions courts has been reserved. On Wednesday, in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka, case number 977 of Ramna police station was filed, while in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Amir Zia, case number 976 of Ramna police station was filed.

PTI lawyer Ali Bukhari appeared in the court. The parties presented arguments, after which the decision was reserved. The district magistrate has appointed State Council due to the unavailability of lawyers. The district magistrate also imposed fines on the accused.

The additional judges have suspended the orders of the trial courts until the final decision on the appeals. Two cases have been registered in Ramna police station against PTI workers for the November 26 protest.
