Minister vows to work for Karak uplift
PESHAWAR: Minister for Agriculture Muhammad Sajjad on Monday said that he would spare no effort to work for the uplift of the hitherto underdeveloped parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly the Karak district.
He was addressing a gathering after he laid the foundation stone of the Kazim Kala-Amarkai Graveyard Road in Karak district. An official handout said that Member National Assembly Shahid Khattak was also present.
Addressing the ceremony, the minister said that it was his top priority to work for the uplift of Karak. “This will be an era of development for the Karak,” he said.He expressed his determination to work together for the progress and prosperity of Karak.
Earlier, speaking at a gathering, he said that addressing the grievances of the local people was his utmost priority. He added that collective struggle would be waged to bring these areas on a par with the developed ones.
Referring to the problems faced by the Lawaghar belt, he said that he would spare no effort to resolve them on merit under the aspirations of the people. He asserted that early work would be done on the roads along the Tehsil Headquarters Takht-e-Nasrati and City Headquarters Karak, solarization of tube-wells, irrigation channels, agricultural tube wells and small dams and other key issues.The minister announced that work on the Dubli Lawahar to Kandukhel road would start soon. At the ceremony, the minister welcomed the newcomers into the PTI.
