Woman injured in firing

LAHORE:A woman was injured in a firing incident allegedly carried out by her brother-in-law in the Lohari Gate area.

According to officials, the suspect, identified as Tahir Tipu, visited the house to offer sacrificial meat. During the visit, he reportedly opened fire, injuring Uzma, who sustained two bullet wounds to her leg. The injured woman was shifted to hospital where her condition was said to be stable. Following the incident, the accused fled the scene. Police registered a case against the accused and launched a search operation to apprehend him.
