RSS to launch e-learning programme from August

Roots School System (RSS) took another initiative first time in Pakistan by introducing the smart education in schools i.e. SMART (Supersonic, Multidimensional, Attractive, Revolutionary, Teaching through technology) e-Learning Programme.
The programme is based on the construction of an Electronic Lab (e-lab) with the deployment of Interactive white board and Classroom Management System. The e-lab is equipped with state of the art 2-in one (rigid laptop +tablet) for students and one Master teacher Laptop.
The tablets/laptops will be secured in a state of the art moveable and chargeable trolley.
The students and teachers will communicate with each other digitally from these laptops through a professionally deployed network/internet and multimedia connectivity. The deployed solution will help the teachers to manage their lectures and class digitally in more interactive away. The synchronization of Interactive white board with the Classroom Management System will establish the 21st century digital classroom first time by RSS in Pakistan. Lectures through interactive white board will help the students to visualize the concepts in an interactive way, while the classroom management system will help the teacher to conduct the lecture, quizzes and assignments digitally.
The key features of this SMART E-learning programme are “Interactive teaching and learning, student centric, active and adaptive learning, invitational environment, performance based assessments, collaborative learning, paperless class, group collaboration, response & competition, screens broadcasting, file management, effective control and Assist, real time digital monitoring and instructions etc. The deployed SMART E-learning programme will revolutionize the traditional classroom teaching and learning methodologies. The solution is deployed with the help of Orange Technologies. The initial 2 day training was conducted recently in new e-lab of Roots School System DHA-1 Junior School.
The teachers were trained by the master trainer of Orange technologies on the new deployed technology gadgets in e-lab.
