Islamabad: A unique and captivating art exhibition was held at the Bulgarian Embassy here, hosted by the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Pakistan, Irena Gancheva. The exhibition showcased the artworks of a renowned female painter from Bulgaria. The chief guest at this colourful event was Additional Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Ayub, says a press release.

The event was attended by a large number of dignitaries including Chairman of the Pakistan Cultural Forum, Zafar Bakhtawari, Director General of the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), Ayub Jamali, ambassadors from various European countries, personalities associated with the fine arts, intellectuals, students, and media representatives.

On this occasion, Bulgarian Ambassador Irena Gancheva addressed the audience, stating that the exhibition is a wonderful initiative to promote cultural ties between the two countries. She emphasized that painting is a universal language that brings nations closer together. She reaffirmed her commitment to working on joint cultural projects with artists and cultural institutions in Pakistan.
