PU hostels to be vacated during summer vacation

LAHORE:The Punjab University (PU) administration has decided that the hostels will be completely vacated during the summer vacation. In this regard, the PU spokesperson said that it has been decided to keep the hostels closed from June 6 to August 27, while students doing thesis in the last semester will have to take formal permission from their supervisors and HoDs. According to the spokesperson, departments continuing academic activities during the summer vacation will be obliged to take permission from the Vice Chancellor. He said that only international students will be allowed to reside in the hostels during the vacation.

Convocation

The fifth convocation of Ameeruddin Medical College (AMC), affiliated with the LGH, will be held on June 3 (Tuesday) at Aiwan-e-Iqbal, here in which 200 doctors who passed MBBS will be awarded degrees.
