Pakistan face Kyrgyzstan in CAVA League tomorrow
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has been grouped with Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in the 4th Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) League starting from today (Thursday) in Fergana (Uzbekistan).
Both India and Pakistan have been included in different groups in the CAVA that was earlier scheduled to be held in Islamabad. Since India are a weaker side, their chances of reaching the semi-finals are remote hence no clash against Pakistan.
Pool A includes host Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran and India. Defending champions Pakistan will open their campaign against Kyrgyzstan tomorrow (Friday) and will take on Kazakhstan the next day (May 31).
Pakistan have already reached Fergana to figure in the event. The team players trained on Wednesday and planned another set of training for today (Thursday).
