Muqam briefed on DHQ Hospital solarisation

ALPURI: Federal Minister Amir Muqam on Sunday visited the District Headquarters Hospital and reviewed the ongoing solarisation project being executed with the support of the UNHCR.The key objective of this project is to ensure a reliable and sustainable power supply for medical facilities.

The minister was briefed on the progress of the project. The initiative includes a solar capacity of 150KW, inverter capacity of 170KW, and a battery backup of 151 KWh, making the hospital a model healthcare facility in terms of energy self-sufficiency in the region. This vital project guarantees uninterrupted electricity supply to all essential medical departments of the hospital, which will facilitate the local population.

The elders and people of the area commended Muqam for his efforts toward public welfare and his commitment to his constituency. Under his leadership, this project is seen as a significant step toward sustainable development.
