SIALKOT: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), in partnership with the Sialkot Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held an ‘Investment Readiness Programme’ workshop aimed at equipping women entrepreneurs with the tools to scale their ventures and attract funding.
The one-day training, conducted on May 21, drew around 30 women-led startups and SMEs. The workshop covered strategic planning, financial literacy, investor engagement, and documentation preparation. Saad Ashraf Raja, founder of Edlytica, led the session.
Participants were introduced to the Business Model Canvas and various funding options, including bank loans, angel investment and venture capital. The workshop promoted peer learning and practical feedback tailored to participants’ business challenges.
The initiative is part of TDAP’s broader strategy to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem for women and increase access to capital in underserved regions.
