116 women lost lives in KP this year

PESHAWAR: As many as 116 women lost their lives in different incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during this year. The data compiled by the police revealed that along with men, a large number of women were also killed in domestic violence, enmities, honour killings and other incidents during the first four months of 2025. The highest number of women, 40, were killed in the Mardan division, followed by 29 in the Malakand and 19 in the Peshawar division.
