JUIF office-bearer joins PMLN
BATKHELA: The district deputy general secretary of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUIF) Malakand, Fakhar Alam, on Thursday formally joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN).
He announced the decision at a press conference along with PMLN district president Sajad Khan, and others.Fakhar Alam stated that the decision was driven by the organizational negligence and lack of direction within JUIF at the local level.
He praised the PMLN for its robust political stance, particularly in economic and defense matters. He lauded the federal government’s recent response to Indian aggression, claiming that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s firm reply had won the hearts of the people.
Despite the PMLN not having elected representatives in Malakand during the past term, he said, leaders like Amir Muqam and Sajad Khan had successfully initiated significant development projects in the area.
Referring to the historic nuclear tests, Fakhar Alam recalled how former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had responded to India’s nuclear ambitions with an even stronger show of force. He drew parallels with the current situation, stating that the present PMLN government had once again proved its mettle on the defense front.
The PMLN leadership warmly welcomed Fakhar Alam into the party and expressed hope that he would continue working for the progress and development of the Malakand region.
