KP govt announces summer vacations schedule

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced summer vacations for all the public sector and private schools in the summer and winter zones of the province.

According to an official notification issued by the KP Elementary and Secondary Education Department, the primary schools in the summer zones would go on vacation from June 1 till August 31, which would be reopened on September 1. The middle, high and higher secondary schools in the summer zone would be closed on account of summer vacations from June 15 till August 31, the notification stated. Similarly, in the winter zone only one month of summer vacations have been announced, which will start from July 1 and last until July 31.
