Litigants at heart of judicial reforms: CJP
Chief justice chaired fourth interactive session here at Supreme Court to review progress on judicial reforms
ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Yahya Afridi Monday underscored the judiciary’s unwavering focus on placing the litigants at the heart of reforms, stressing that timely and effective justice remained a moral obligation.
The chief justice chaired the fourth interactive session here at the Supreme Court to review progress on judicial reforms aimed at improving service delivery and expanding access to justice. The chief justice reiterated that the ongoing initiatives, including the digitalization of court processes and streamlined procedures, were designed not only to reduce case backlogs but also to uphold public trust through greater accountability.
Supreme Court Registrar Muhammad Salim Khan, development expert Sher Shah online from Paris, IT Expert Hamayun Zafar, Director General Federal Judicial Academy Hayat Ali Shah, and Secretary Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan (LJCP) Syeda Tanzeela Sabahat and others attended the session.
