JUIF leader survives bomb blast
WANA: The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUIF) leader remained unharmed in an explosion near a madrassa in Azam Warsak Bazaar of Birmal Tehsil in Lower Waziristan on Thursday.
Locals said the powerful explosion shook the vicinity near Maulana Shahzada’s madrassa in the bustling Azam Warsak Bazaar.The attack, according to local sources, was an attempt to target JUIF leader Maulana Noorullah Imad.
However, Maulana Noorullah Imad, Maulana Amanullah and Maulana Ishaq, all escaped unhurt.This incident is not the first of its kind in Azam Warsak. Maulana Shahzada himself has been the victim of two prior bomb attacks, resulting in the tragic loss of both his legs, while a Mufti accompanying him was martyred. Despite these life-altering injuries, Maulana Shahzada continues his religious and community activities with unwavering resolve.
