Yatrees happy with facilities
LAHORE
Sikh yatrees from across the globe, including India, who have come to Pakistan to observe the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh, have expressed their complete satisfaction over the arrangements made by Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB).
Talking to media here at Gurudawara Dera Sahib in Lahore, head of the delegation (party leader) Sardar Gurmeet Singh said they were quite satisfied and happy over the arrangements made by the ETPB, including their transportation, residence, security, food, etc. He said they would remember the way they were loved and taken care of here in Pakistan. The yatrees will leave for their respective countries on June 30.
Meanwhile, a four-member delegation of Sadhu Bela Mandir (Temple), Sukkur, including Gauri Shankar called on ETPB Chairman Siddiq-ul-Farooq at his residence on Monday. The delegation expressed gratitude for the chairman for preserving and protecting properties and places of Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan. They also thanked him for issuing grant to be spent on the rehabilitation of Sadhu Bela temple in Sukkur.
