Two students injured in Bannu blast

BANNU: An explosion targeted a police van in Basyakhel, Bannu, injuring two students and causing eight others, including police personnel and women, to fall unconscious.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Basyakhel Police Station on Toraka Surani Road
near Government High School Sikandar Khel Bala. A Basyakhel police van was on routine patrol when an improvised explosive device, planted earlier by unidentified miscreants, exploded. As a result of the blast, Abdullah, a second-year student and son of Jaleel Khan, a resident of Dare Shah Killay, and Gohar Ali, a fourth-semester student and son of Dost Ali Khan, a resident of Bezan Khel, sustained injuries.
