ISLAMABAD: Justice Ayesha A Malik, judge of the Supreme Court, has taken a strong exception to the non-compliance of IT department of the apex court of her order to upload her dissenting order in the reserved seats case.
In a letter addressed to Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi, Justice Ayesha A Malik informed that she and Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi released their order in CRP Nos.312 of 2024, etc. being the review petitions in the reserved seats case the other day at 3:11p.m. after which the IT Department was required to upload the order.
“However, despite being repeatedly told to upload the order, they did not upload it the other day and this morning when I again told them to upload the order, I was informed that they are unable to do so,” Justice Ayesha wrote adding that this lack of compliance by the IT department is unacceptable. Justice Ayesha requested the Chief Justice that the order be uploaded on the Supreme Court’s website immediately without any further delay. The judge also enclosed with the letter a copy of the said order for ready reference.
