CM meets boxing champion Aaliya Soomro, offers govt support

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah met 19-year-old boxing sensation Aaliya Soomro on Thursday, congratulating her on her recent historic achievement and awarding her a cash prize of Rs1 million.
The CM also offered continued government support, including the provision of a professional coach if needed. The meeting was held at the CM House and was attended by Provincial Minister Ali Hassan Zardari, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, Principal Secretary Agha Wasif, and MPAs Shazia Kareem and Muhammad Yousuf. Aaliya, who hails from Lyari, recently made history by becoming the first Pakistani woman to win a world boxing title.
