Commissioner praises fitness event at press club

The Karachi Press Club has stated that for the first time in its history, a healthy activity, Fitness Gala, was organised, in which international athletes, boxers, fitness trainers and their families participated.

The special guest at the event was the Karachi commissioner who expressed the hope that more such events would be organised in the future. The chief organised of the event was Tahir Siddiqui. The Karachi Press Club president, secretary, joint secretary and others participated in the Fitness Gala that was formally inaugurated by the commissioner.

“Journalists lead a difficult and busy life and for them, such activities are not only a source of entertainment but also an important step towards health and well-being,” the commissioner said, adding that both mental health and physical health were important for the journalists.
