Fines imposed on hotels, stores in Galiyat

ABBOTTABAD: In a stringent crackdown on erring establishments, the officials inspected multiple hotels, restaurants, general stores and medical stores in Galiyat and imposed fines on violators.
The drive aimed at enforcing compliance with hygiene, pricing, and licensing regulations, resulting in fines totaling Rs118,000/-for violations. During the inspections, Assistant Commissioner Shamimullah and his team uncovered several breaches including unhygienic kitchen conditions, underweight rotis and overpricing in violation of official rates. During visits to medical stores, absence of qualified practitioners and operation with expired licenses were observed.
