Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman has said that our training institutions have been contributing immensely to prepare personnel of the Pakistan Air Force to cope up with future challenges in a confident and professional manner.
He was addressing the convocation ceremony of No 29 Air War Course held at the PAF Air War College, Faisal, on Friday, said a statement issued by the air force.
The chief of the air staff congratulated the graduating officers on the successful completion of the course. He expressed confidence that the knowledge and skills acquired at the Air War College would help the participants to effectively contribute towards the requirements of national security.
He said: “The Pakistan Air Force places the highest premium on quality training, which is inevitable for achieving excellence—one of the core values of the PAF. Our training institutions have been contributing immensely to prepare PAF personnel to cope up with future challenges in a confident and professional manner.”
Air Chief Marshal Aman further said, “As senior military professionals, you must remain abreast of the contemporary geo-political and strategic environment; which not only has a deep impact on the overall security calculus, but its sound understanding also facilitates better preparedness and timely response to emerging threats.
“Air War College has prepared you well to assimilate new ideas, trends, and innovation in domains of doctrine, strategy and air power employment alongside exposing you to important dimensions of cyber, media and space.”
Earlier, Air Vice Marshal Pirzada Kamaluddin Ahmed Siddiqui, commandant of the Air War College, presented the course report.
Beside officers from the Pakistan Air Force, the Pakistan Army and the Pakistan Navy, the graduates included officers from 10 friendly countries—Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, Jordan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Nigeria and South Africa. The ceremony was also attended by various high-ranking civil and military officers and diplomats from different countries.
The Air War College is the premier institution of the Pakistan Air Force, where mid-level officers of Pakistan’s armed forces and friendly countries are prepared for the assumption of key command and staff appointments.
