Two dacoits killed, as many injured
Dacoits were wanted by police in multiple cases of murder, robbery, highway robbery, and kidnapping for ransom
LAHORE: The Rajanpur Police conducted a successful operation against kacha criminals, killing two notorious dacoits of Umrani gang and injuring two others on Wednesday.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, during the ongoing operation in Kacha Jamal, the killed dacoits were identified as Abdul Rehman alias Baga and Bahadur Syedani, while two dacoits — Ijaz alias Munda and Badshah — were seriously injured.
The killed dacoits were wanted by the police in multiple cases of murder, robbery, highway robbery, and kidnapping for ransom.
“Police advancement continues for the eradication of Kacha dacoits,” the spokesperson said.
Inspector General Punjab Dr Usman Anwar has commended the Rajanpur Police for the successful operation against kacha criminals.
