Encroachments removed

LAHORE:LDA’s anti-encroachment operation continued in Sabzazar for the second day on Tuesday. The LDA teams conducted operations in six blocks, including L, K, N and M and removed sheds, huts and paved encroachments that were erected by residents outside their houses. DG LDA Tahir Farooq visited Sabzazar Scheme and reviewed the operation and said citizens should remove encroachments, sheds and huts on their own, and LDA will remove encroachments in all its schemes in a phased manner. The DG directed LDA teams to continue operations on a daily basis. Later, DG LDA also visited different blocks of Allama Iqbal Town. DG LDA Tahir Farooq directed to start an operation against encroachments in Iqbal Town.
