Man arrested for killing wife in Gulshan

A man killed his wife by slitting her throat in Gulshan-e-Iqbal’s Block 2 on Monday. The body of 25-year-old Saima Bibi was discovered on the rooftop of a private school where she and her husband, Sarfaraz, lived and worked. Rescue workers and police reached the scene and shifted the body to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.

Initial investigations revealed that a domestic dispute escalated into a fatal attack, with the husband using a sharp-edged weapon to kill his wife. Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested Sarfaraz Ahmed and recovered the murder weapon, a knife, from his possession. The police have registered a case and launched further investigations into the matter.
