Three children die in house fire

OKARA: Three children tragically died after their house at Chak 31/GD caught fire while their parents were away at a doctor’s appointment, leaving them asleep when the blaze erupted and engulfed their room.
Rescue 1122 team and local residents rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control, recovering the bodies of the children.
The deceased children were identified as Zohray Khan’s six-year-old daughter Sheeza, three-year-old son Qamar Abbas, and six-year-old son Abdullah. Further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has sought a report from the Sahiwal commissioner and has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the incident, extending condolences to the bereaved family.
