The newly appointed chief executive officer (CEO) of the Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KWSC), Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, has directed KWSC officials to ensure smooth water supply and sewerage services during Eidul Fitr to prevent inconvenience for citizens.
He emphasised that all the mosques, Eidgahs, Imambargahs, and madrasas must have clean surroundings so that worshippers could perform their religious duties without disruptions. Siddiqui stated that providing uninterrupted water supply and proper sewerage services during the Eid was an act of service, and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.
A formal notification was issued instructing the officials concerned to resolve all the water supply and drainage issues across the city before Eid.
