Police get physical remand of Chhotu, 15 accomplices
DERA GHAZI KHAN: The ringleader of Chhotu gang, Ghulam Rasool, and 15 of its members were presented before an anti-terrorism court which handed them over to police on physical remand.
A 45-day remand was given in the case involving abduction and killing of police officials, while of 30-day in other four cases.
The accused were presented before the court amid strict security measures, where the hearing of five cases registered with Bangla Achha Police Station was conducted.
Apart from Chhotu, the other criminals presented before the court included Khalid alias Kajlani, Ishaq Changwani, Nadir, Behram, Haider and Juma.
The ATC judge, Wajahat Hussain Khan, ordered to present the criminals on August 5 in the case pertaining to the abduction and killing of policemen, while the hearing of other four cases is set to be held on July 19.
