KHAR: Bajaur Deputy Commissioner Shahid Ali Khan visited Pakistan Sweet Home in Civil Colony here and distributed Eid gifts, including cash (Eidi), new clothes, and shoes, to bring joy to the children ahead of Eidul Fitr.
The deputy commissioner inquired about the facilities and challenges faced by the children at Pakistan Sweet Home and issued necessary directives for improving their welfare. The children requested recreational trips and sports equipment, to which DC Bajaur assured them of an upcoming tour and the provision of sports kits at the earliest.
As part of the visit, DC Bajaur also planted a tree sapling at the facility, emphasising the importance of a healthy environment. He directed the authorities to take further effective measures for the better upbringing, education, and well-being of the children.
