SHC acting CJ inaugurates press room at high court
The acting chief justice of the Sindh High Court, Justice Mohammad Junaid Ghaffar, inaugurated the press room in the administrative block of the high court.
The inaugural ceremony was also attended by senior puisne judge of the SHC, Justice Zafar Ahmed Rajput, and all other judges of the high court. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the acting CJ said that the media room would be equipped with all modern facilities so that journalists covering high court proceedings could perform their professional responsibilities in an appropriate manner.
He said media persons should take utmost care while covering court proceedings, and they may give breaking news but after confirming court orders. Senior court reporters Asghar Umar, Jamal Khurshid, Shaukat Korai and others thanked the acting chief justice and other judges of the high court for establishing the press room and said this facility would not only help them to perform their professional duties but also improve their learning skills with regard to the judicial system.
