Farid Hussaini’s poignant book of short stories
A brilliant and haunting collection of short stories ‘Aabe-Zar-se-Likhi-Larki’ exposes the darker, mythical underbelly of reality. It is a short story collection written by Dr. Farid Hussaini. I am amazed how he has written such an enticing book. His writing is simple but looks fresh.
I was twenty pages in and immersed in his narrative. First, the stories shall bind you with their intriguing characters and then the personality of the ‘Aabe-Zar-se-Likhi-Larki’. It is tempting, intense and beguiling. I finished this book in two days and loved it until the end. If you are looking for an appealing story, then ‘Aabe-Zar-se-Likhi-Larki’ is a sure pick. Trust me, this tale of love, and desire will surely captivate you. It is a blend of thriller, mystery, and love.
Do pick up this book. With an excellent storyline and engaging writing style, it will not disappoint you. It is a mind-blowing book. A book made me crazy, literally. I was trying not to shut my eyes and complete the book filled with twists. Yes, it is that crazy and amazing at the same time. The crisp and gripping writing style of the author keeps the reader hooked throughout from the very first page.
The way the story starts, to the way it proceeds is just astonishing. Indescribable, refined, and unembellished, the stories in this selection are among Farid’s most touching. His writing is intelligent, witty, emotional, and unique. This book is a collection of short stories discussing love, life, loneliness, culture, the human condition, and other such interesting topics.
These stories are not very romantic ones. They have a more realistic view on love, or maybe even a bit satirical, and are very refreshing.
These stories are much more than simple romantic stories. Instead of investing in mushy scenes and corny dialogues, Farid Hussaini delved into the characters’ psychology. His characters are diverse and lovable, and each possesses a unique disposition. I recommend the stories to anyone who loves a wholesome book.
