A joint operation by the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC), Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC), and federal intelligence agencies successfully rescued a kidnapped youth from Balochistan and led to the arrest of three abductors.
The targeted operation, based on technical data analysis, was conducted in the Winder area of Hub on the night between Wednesday and Thursday by personnel of the Sindh CPLC, AVCC/CIA and a federal law enforcement agency, with the assistance of Hub police. As a result, the abductee, 16-year-old Abidullah, son of Khan Badshah, was safely recovered, and three suspects involved in the kidnapping for ransom were apprehended.
The teenager was abducted on the night of March 5 while offering Taraweeh prayers. A ransom call demanding Rs60 million was received the same night for his release. In this regard, an FIR was lodged at the Manghopir police station, and the investigation was later transferred to the AVCC police. Upon receiving the case, CPLC, AVCC, and the federal law enforcement agency immediately began working on technical analysis, which led to multiple raids before the joint operation.
