Teams’ trials for national games after Eid
LAHORE:Punjab Sports and Youth Affairs Director General (DG) Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry has said that the three-day trials for the selection of Punjab teams for 35th National Games will be conducted immediately after Eidul Fitr.
He shared this information while chairing an important meeting at National Hockey Stadium on Wednesday.
Addressing the meeting, Khizar Afzaal said that after the trials, the training camps of Punjab teams will be organised under the supervision of qualified coaches. ‘All the provincial coaches have been assigned tasks to trace highly talented athletes from their respective tehsils and districts, he said and added that after Inter-Provincial Quaid e Azam Games and Khelta Punjab Games, we have a good lot of talented athletes and we will participate in the 35th National Games with full preparations.
